    Scaled to billions

    I helped Localize grow to handle billions of records by moving its heavy work onto background workers fed through BullMQ message queues.

  2. No. 02 Localize

    From 1.5s to 70ms

    The main page of the dashboard took more than a second and a half to render after the data was fetched. I proactively audited the state management and hooks. After reworking the page, I eliminated hundreds of redundant re-renders. It now settles almost instantly.

  3. No. 03 iWT Health

    Kept patients close to family

    During the COVID-19 lockdown, I built two React Native apps that made it easy for patients to connect with their families, and healthcare providers, during the lockdown.

  4. No. 04 Localize

    80% lighter than raw JSON

    I built an automated compression pipeline on AWS, with SQS queuing the work, Lambda compressing each file and S3 holding the results. The files served to customers are more than 80% smaller than the same data as raw JSON.
